Candlelight Records will re-release Orange Goblin's 2007 album Healing Through Fire on June 10. The re-release will include a couple of live bonus tracks from a 2007 BBC performance. The album was never physically released in the States back when it came out, so this is good news for completists like myself who prefer to fill in their favorite bands' entire catalogue on the old record (CD) shelf.
In addition, the Orange Goblin crew is currently working on the follow-up to 2012's A Eulogy For The Damned. According to the latest reports, bass guitar and drums have been tracked, with guitars and vocals expected to be completed by May 17. The final mix is then anticipated by early June, with the still untitled album slated for release in October. Orange Goblin also plans to do another club tour of the U.S. later this year, which is killer news since I inexplicably missed them last year in Dayton. The Goblin will also be supporting Saint Vitus on their 35th Anniversary Tour in Europe this Fall.
