The new Agalloch album, The Serpent & The Sphere, is currently streaming on NPR. Set for release on May 13 on Profound Lore Records, The Serpent & The Sphere is the Portland band's fifth full-length release, surrounded by a handful of EPs and splits. If you're already a fan of Agalloch, you'll probably dig it. If you're new to the band and you're interested in some solid black/doom/folk, this is as good a starting point as any, I suppose.
