Well, this came out of nowhere. I wasn’t even aware that Karma to Burn was working on a new album and now there’s news that the new record will be out later this Summer. Arch Stanton, the band’s first full-length release in 2 years, will be out August 19 on Faba/Deepdive Records. With seven brand new tracks and one unreleased number from the vaults, Arch Stanton will be the West Virginia trio’s first album since 2002’s Almost Heathen to feature exclusively instrumental tracks. Really looking forward to this one. In the meantime, you can stream the first single from the new album here: https://soundcloud.com/prescription-pr/karma-to-burn-57
In addition, Karma to Burn is heading overseas around the time of the new album’s release to tour the UK for a couple of weeks with Desert Storm. Hopefully they’ll follow that up with a US tour, but nothing is confirmed at this point.
