Seattle death metal thrashers Black Breath have announced a short follow-up tour to their upcoming performances at Maryland Death Fest. I just recently discovered these dudes, but I'm hooked on the 2012 album, Life Sentence. For those unfamiliar, I'd describe these guys as a throwback to early Swedish death metal with some thrash influence and shouted vocals instead of the super-deep growling that ruins a lot of death metal for me. Apparently the guys are working on a 3rd album, which might be released yet in 2014. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this band. Check out the back catalogue and if you're lucky enough to be heading to Maryland Death Fest or near a city on the subsequent tour, don't miss these guys.
